6th Southern African HIV & TB Drug Resistance and Treatment Monitoring Workshop

The Southern African Treatment Resistance Network (SATuRN) would like to bring to your attention the 6th Southern African HIV & TB Drug Resistance and Treatment Monitoring Workshop that we are organizing from the 7 to 8 November 2011, at the University of Botswana, Gaborone, Botswana.
The workshop includes theoretical lectures and practical sessions on the usage and interpretation of HIV-1 & TB drug resistance genotyping in the management of HIV & TB patients. The workshop will include clinical cases management in the developing world, including South Africa, Botswana and Brazil. This year, we have expanded to cover TB resistance and have confirmed a fantastic line of speakers.
This workshop is targeted at clinicians, clinical virologists, nurses, medical students and researchers working in the public and private sector who are currently involved in the treatment of patients with ARVs and/or TB drugs in Southern Africa.
